Acer TravelMate 7750 and 4750 business laptops Review
In addition of launching Aspire One Happy and Aspire One 722 netbooks, Acer recently launched two business laptops under TravelMate brand. The Acer TravelMate 7750 (17.3") and 4750 (14") are business laptops designed for SMB, SOHO and mobile professionals. Both of them are based on Intel Core processor family with mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset.
These notebook come with Intel Anti-Theft technology and Absolute Data Protection (ADP) by Absolute Software. With built-in Anti-Theft technology, if the notebook is lost or stolen you can remotely lock it. During lock down the notebook is inoperable and access to encrypted data is disabled. Once the computer is recovered, it can be easily unlocked. ADP is an anti-theft software that allows users to track their PC if it's lost or stolen. Furthermore, both of them support Pre-boot Authentication with BIOS/HDD password for enhanced security.
Specification include Intel Core family processor, up to 1.5TB storage (2x 750GB), up to 8GB DDR3 memory, DVD burner, LED-backlit display, and integrated or discrete graphics.
Other features include webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and Intel Wireless Display technology.
